  My name is Diana, a mother of three, a self taught baker and the founder of Casita de Cake. I am a proud Latina with a registered home based business in the state of Kentucky. I was born and raised in New York with a Salvadorean background, moved to Washington, Dc. as a teen to start a new life.  For many years I worked behind a desk or in the medical field.  I then decided it was time for a change. I then moved to the Bluegrass state, Kentucky! I started baking as a hobby as a young girl to later down in life realize it was a passion and found my calling and turned it into my business. Baking is one thing, cake decorating is another. I do believe you can be born with a special gift or talent; however, those still require a lot practice and patience. I dedicate my time not only to take care of my family but to focus on what I love to do. I thrive to get better each time and continue to learn each day throughout the process. Each ingredient that is added to each recipe is not only made from scratch, but hand crafted with love. As a woman, struggling with pre-diabetes for nearly 15 years, I have came to find my perfect recipes that are not too sweet but yet tasty to fulfill your pallet.
